I don’t like the word “resolution”. So here is a short list of “improvements” I’d like to make in my life for 2012.
Reflect More.
Those moments spent in the quiet dark while rocking my girl to sleep are some of the most lending for thought.
Say Yes.
To chances, adventures, the unknown, and most importantly to the times I assume things will turn out in a negative way.
Be present.
We are in the States. I must learn to appreciate where we are today, and not get fixated on where we are going.
Craft more.
I will conquer the sewing machine. I will conquer the DSLR (complete the 365 project). I will make home-made goodies.
Eat Breakfast.
Breakfast is our only meal time as a family – make it a priority.
Make plans.
Begin working on our business plan for the dance studio.
Remember ME.
I won’t neglect myself, or forget that I am more than just a wife & mother. I have a career, hobbies, thoughts, and feelings of my own.
Live wholesome.
Real food. Real products. Real values.
Frugal (well)living.
Continue to pay down the loan without compromising our health or happiness.
Get healthy.
Gain weight by eating well, build muscle, remember my vitamins.
Be thankful.
A beautiful family, roof over our heads, food in our bellies, and money in the bank. Life. is. good.
2012….ready, set. GO.
